Bio
David Hawkes has been performing professionally in Central California and the San Francisco/Bay Area since 1983. In addition to attending
the Berklee School of Music in Boston, Dave is a graduate of California State University Stanislaus. He has studied with notable
drummers David Garibaldi and Dave Weckl.

Method
Dave believes that reading music along with the development of good technique and listening skills are crucial elements to becoming a
well-rounded musician. While he follows a general program to promote overall technique, Dave incorporates each student’s individual
musical interests into the lessons.
